Overload

This is something we never wanted to write on the blog or we never thought we would.

There's going to be some overload on the students beacuse of the overload on the transformer next to the CSE dept.The current load capacity of the transformer is not meeting the required load needs.It was being overloaded for the past few weeks to ensure power supplies to the classes and the hostels which caused significant damage to various feeders during the cultural nitZ of TZ.

But the repeated overloading may damage the transformer itself which in any case was newly installed.So,the hostel blocks will not be provided with power supply during the class hours( 9:00AM to 12:30PM and 1:30PM to 4:30PM)until the load capacity of the transformer is upgraded,which to our horror takes at least a month's time.

The power supply during the weekdays will be irregular in the hostels at least till the end of this semester.

We hope that the maintenance work is completed as soon as possible and reduces the overload for both.
