-These are the common messages we are encountering these days.


In a network spread over 14 hostel blocks,a glitch could really take the entire system down.One such was that the internet in charge sorted out a few days back.All these snags have to be found manually and with no 24 hour personnel available to moniter,its really hard to have a reliable internet connection.Because it has been only 1 year since the internet facility is being provided in the hostels,atleast the first few batches have to face these situations while a new problem keeps coming up each day.


Also a virus in a PC can bring the entire network down and the solution to restore the network would be to disconnect the PC with virus from the network.By trail and error-disconnecting each block-only can we find the hostel block in which the infected node is peacefully resting(Like the 1st block being responsible for not getting internet for the last one month).And the entire block would be dicconnected from the server to ensure internet access for students of other blocks(That is how we are getting internet with 1st block disconnected from the network).So,we request you to keep your PC's free from viruses and please disconnect it from the LAN if you have any.


Probably,this message wouldn't reach you till you get the internet and internet will not reach you till you get this message(The Earth is round).So,whoever reads this pass this on to others and keep your PC's clean to keep the network clean.
